Where is the logic?
With the rise in oil prices, the central gov't has finally decided to raise the price of petrol and diesel by 2 or 3 rupees (about 5-8 cents). What does our state decide to do? Call a strike for two days. Yesterday and today, all forms of public transportation (except for bicycle rickshaws) have been forbidden to run. It makes no sense to me... as if it is the central gov't's fault that the oil prices had to be raised. Do they ever think about the millions of rupees lost in productivity and business because people cannot get to work and the impact it has on their economy? It is one of those things I just cannot understand.
